Just like the last time. Google is aiming fashion designers to design iGoogle Themes for what is one of the top 3 preferred start pages. this time around they made it more official and even aimed to release them as something that came out straight of Fashion Week in NYC.
That means you can get iGoogle Theme designs for your iGoogle Gadgets made by people like Vera Wang and Michael kors. i guess that this does indeed serve to make the service more palatable for all kind of taste but it does look like Google is aiming to Women more heavily too. whatever the reason it makes up for good PR.
