PopJax is a Video Trivia site that uses YouTube Videos in order to make its trivia games. the trivia games bank on nostalgia and are about music, TV, animation and so on. the design of the page is neo-retro looking and used flash to power the site. that said it is a heavy site and it should think of renewing the look and the organizational plan for the site. there is no blog and there are sections that not accessible from the Homepage like its PopJax Widgets.

The PopJax Widgets are a portable versions of the most popular on the site and they are served in flash. the widgets count with the same neo-retro look that i am not entirely sure it works or not as good as it could in terms of favoring the widgets. the most notable thing about the widgets is that you can log in from the widget with your popjax account without going anywhere and that they do count with a quick sharing of the embed code. this is of course not acceptable and it could benefit immensely from a High Spread Sharing module. another disappointing things is that they only have a single size version.
That said. i like the idea behind the widgets, i like the video trivia’s and the implementations of it in the widget. it got room to grow and they should use it so they can update them and make them great instead of just good.
PopJax aims to MySpace with these widgets and i think they are right. these are widgets that would be well at home for MySpace.
