A friend (Ming) saw our post about about the world.tv movie trailer widget and decided to completely blow their widget out of the water.
Behold…The Sticki Trailer Widget…(sounds sick in a redneck sorta way)
Seriously..this movie trailer widget rocks! The trailers load fast and play clean and clear.
Utilize the simple switcher in the top right to cycle throught the current trailers for upcoming flicks. Move over to the left to search out older trailers.
The widget has access to an extensive movie trailer library that is provided by TrailerAddict.com I just watched an original trailer for Pink Floyd the Wall. This actually stirred some memories I thought were long lost.
Ming, I see that Trailer Addict doesn’t have their own widget. Hmmmmmmm?

The WidgetBox one doesn’t look like it was developed by them and also it pretty much just a RSS feed widget.
Then they have a “WordPress widget” which is more of a plugin than a true “widget.” As you and I would define it.
However, they do have a free API so maybe they are looking to the community to develop widgets. Not necessarily a bad idea.
I used to work at Movies.com knee-deep in the coordination of theatrical and DVD assets…and THIS is a great widget!

Now… does Clearspring give you the tools to make the Sticki Trailer Widget sidebar friendly?
This was a quick widget that I whipped up after reading your post so it definitely could use more features. Variable widget sizes could be added and is supported by the Clearspring platform.
its good widget, i have just loaded this widget on my blog, but selecting a new trailer switch is not appearing on my widget
Most likely has to do with the size that you made the widget. The element you are looking for is hidden when you reduced the size of the widget.
