The ‘Add to MyRegistry’ Button
The Gift Registry Web Widget offers a simple & customizable html code that
automatically places the ‘Add to MyRegistry’ button on any product page
of your website right next to the existing ‘Add to Cart’ button. Customers
can continue to add items to their shopping cart and now they will also
have the option to add these items to their
universal gift registry with one easily click of a button.
The ‘Add Gift’ Panel
When your customers click on the ‘Add to MyRegistry’
button, a small panel will open up with that specific
product’s picture, title, and price. All your customers
have to do is add the desired color, size, and any
notes they would like to include.There is no limit to how many items your customers
can add to their gift registry!

I recently installed this web widget on my website because I liked the idea of my customers being able to register not only at my store, but any store all in one place (this way they won’t worry about opening too many registries and end up choosing a larger store over mine). It looks like they must have revamped their widget since this was posted, because I had an entirely different experience. It was nice that they let me try it for free before I had to commit, too.
