Buzzdash throws in towel

April 11th, 2009

buzzdash-logo Live polls on everything! Has run out of funding and is calling it quits.

Widgetslab received this email:

Dear widgetslab,

We’re very sad to say that, due to lack of funding, BuzzDash will be winding down in 7 days.

We truly appreciate everyone’s involvement in creating a national forum where people can gauge and share opinions on everything. Over our two and a half year history, you’ve done just that, and we’re proud to have been a part of it.

From the entire BuzzDash team, thank you, and all the best!

Add Crunchbase info to your posts

April 5th, 2009

Crunchbase ( from Techcrunch ) has made it very easy for bloggers to add information to their posts.
With the Crunchbase widget you plug in a Company name and possibly extra details such as Products, Financial Organization and Person.

Out pops the code for a JavaScript widget that nicely organizes all of the selected info.

Check it!

This handy widget even auto-sizes to the width of the post area.
