Solve problems with your Android Phone

Ultimath is an app for Android that allows you to get answers to tricky math problems. This app offers a slick, simple interface that will get you solving problems in no time.

Some Ultimath functions include:

    Area
    Volume
    Circumference/Perimeter
    Quadratic Formula
    Temperature Conversion
    Number Converter

and a few more.

Ultimath is the creation of Sam Voss…who is currently a junior in high school!

Hey everybody, I’m Sam, and I’m the developer of Ultimath, your source to all of your math needs, constantly being updated more and more! Because this application is now out of Alpha/Beta, I’ve created a post here, I will continue to update this post, as I do my updates, and I would love to hear what everybody has to say, please follow me on Twitter:

I have found a small fascination in twitter, I love it, and it is a great way for me to tell everybody/get suggestions from people and everyone is able to see what’s going on with the application, although shooting me an email (sam.voss@gmail.com) has never hurt anybody.

Alright, so about me: I’m a 16 year old Junior in high school, so I obviously live with my parents, my best friend and I are in love with Android, both love to develop, and never try to stop learning ( I look for EVERY opportunity ) and I would love to go to San Fransisco this next year (2011) to the Google convention.. yeah so all’n'all love Android, in Google code-in, not sure what I would like to do for this, as I don’t know most of this, but its an experience!

  2. No problem, Sam!

I love to write about cool apps, especially when they are created by someone other than large corporations.

    Keep up the awesome work!

Love the app. It just saved my Astrix! Just a question that is nagging me, and bearing in mind that my mind might be totally off cuz its been so long since I was in math class: Isn’t volume of a square, cube, cylinder, etc. expressed in cubic feet instead of square feet? I do apologize if I’m off base! Like I said, my little gray cells may be burned out from lack of use. Thanks for the app!

  4. Volume is expressed in cubic X. X being whatever measurement suits the equation best.

Thanks Derek! Just needed to make sure. One of the answers I got for the volume of a cylinder came out as square X instead of cubic X. So my little gray cells aren’t totally gone.
