Catch The Berries…A new game for Android

January 25th, 2011

Simply catch the berries by tapping on them to increase your score. This Free game was developed by Nathan Campos while traveling to a vacation spot.

I’ve made this while I was traveling from Brazil(my home) to Aruba(to have fun). I will improve it a lot in some days.

Nathan indicates future improvements.

Future Implementations:
* When not click on the fruit it will reset the score
* Add some background
* Add different fruits
* Add the BOMB!
* Add a share the scoring button(for social networks)

I like to see the beginning of apps, what their improvements might hold and where they ultimately end up as a finished product.

This game is so new that there is no way to lose. The fruits simply appear randomly on the screen and you have to quickly tap them to increase your count. The fruits do not fall or go beyond reach. They simply just disappear and reappear in random spots.
Each successful ‘Catch’ is followed by a short vibration and an increase in your score.

Set a different wallpaper for each Android home screen!

MultiPicture Live Wallpaper allows you to mix up your Android desktops a bit by setting a different wallpaper for each screen. Simply tell the app to get images from a folder of your choice and enjoy. You may want to set up a specific folder for your desired wallpapers that is separate from your camera or downloads folder.

A double tap on the home screen will change up all of your current wallpapers!

Tower Defense Game for Android

January 20th, 2011

HexDefense for Android has Tron like graphics and offers classic Tower Defense game play.

Navigate fifteen challenging levels, building and upgrading towers to create mazes that leave enemy creeps marching to their death! With explosive OpenGL-based graphics and 3D stereo sound, HexDefense brings the arcade intensity of tower defense to Android like never before. The game is fast and intense – easy to play, but very tough to master!

The developer has included a ‘Live’ screen capture which I believe more developers should consider including on their app pages. HexDefense
