More proof that the popularity and openness of the Android platform makes it an attractive target to the assholes of the world. North Carolina State University has sounded the Android Malware Alarm on the app ‘DroidKungFu’.

This malware is currently undetected by mobile anti-virus software solutions. The app installs a ‘backdoor’ that gives hackers full control of your phone. All of your data is exposed and apparently they can turn your phone into a bot.

Scary stuff considering all the mobile banking that goes on…not to mention all your passwords for email accounts (your Google account)
