1500 Nexus S 4G to be given away at Sprint’s Open Solutions Conference

September 26th, 2011

Register for the Sprint’s Open Solutions Conference today!

Samsung and Sprint are giving away 1500 Nexus S 4G’s and one month of Sprint service to the first 1500 registered attendees of the Sprint Open Solutions Conference in November.

The Nexus S 4G is currently the only Sprint phone with the NFC technology that will be a focus point at the conference. Hence the giveaway.

Unfortunately, this leads us to believe that the much rumored Nexus Prime either:

    1. Does not exist 🙁
    2. Does not have NFC capabilities 🙁
    3. Will not launch prior to the Nov 2 Conference start date 🙁
    4. ?

Possible launch dates:

Sporting a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3.4, 2MP front camera, Sense 3.5, 8MP rear camera, 4G LTE, and a 4.3″ HD 720p display. With a spec list such as this, what kind of battery life can you expect?

Epic 4G Touch vs. HTC EVO 3D [video]

September 21st, 2011

Here it is!

This is the big head to head that puts the Samsung Galaxy S II up against the HTC Evo 3D.

Two very powerful ‘superphones’ will be put to the test to see which one is the king.

The HTC Evo 3D is a very powerful device and one of the first 3D mobile phones available. There are a lot of people out there that swear by the Sense UI. Especially with the 3.0 version, this will definitely give the Epic 4G Touch some competition.

On the other hand, I hear that the HD video recording on the Epic 4G Touch is nearly unrivaled in the current crop of devices. You can keep your ‘Stereoscopic’ cameras and their 3D capabilities! I would much rather have a crisp, clear HD recording any day of the week.
