New Motorola Tablet image leaked?

September 20th, 2011

Late last night, Thisismy/TheVerge reported on a leaked image of what appears to be a new Motorola 7″ tablet.

The appearance of this tablet hints at a thinness that would appeal to a lot of consumers. Just look at how sleek and refined the exterior is. Couple that with what can only be expected as Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0)? and you can bet that they will have a huge hit on their hands.

Pricing… well, lets just hope that they have learned something from the fire sale of the HP TouchPad.

The screen also seems to be 16:9, and we’re willing to bet this is the “fun” and “portable” 7-inch model that Moto CEO Sanjay Jha promised we’d see before the end of the year.

Speed Blazers trailer

September 19th, 2011

TalkAndroid just posted about this new game coming out for Android called Speed Blazers.

This game does look awesome!

A fresh new gaming company, Fraktalvoid, has a hot new trailer for one seriously cool looking game. Speed Blazers HD is a 3D racer where you’re equipped with sonic particle blades (SPB) giving you the ability to glide, dash, and jump incredible heights and perform heart pounding tricks. By the looks of the trailer this looks to be a really fast paced game with some great looking graphics. According to the developers website, the game is hitting beta status soon and I can’t wait to see more! Keep checking back as we will be staying on top of this one and give you news as soon as we get it.

Samsung Epic 4G Touch video capabilities

September 19th, 2011

The Samsung Galaxy S 2 is rumored to have a very decent HD video camera.

Here we have a video shot by Artem (androidpolice.com)

After getting the Samsung Epic 4G Touch (that’s Sprint’s Galaxy S II) on launch day, I had to quite conveniently leave on a planned trip to the wine country half-way between San Francisco and Los Angeles. During this trip, I took this sample video in 720p HD resolution to test the Epic 4G Touch’s camera performance I’ve heard so many great things about from everyone outside the U.S. Considering our review of the E4GT is lacking a video test, I thought this post would be the perfect follow-up.
What can I say?.. The SGS II’s camera blew me away – the photos were nice, but the video clarity and 30fps smoothness, even when quickly panning around which I tried to do in the beginning, absolutely knocked it out of the park. The quality is so good that I just had to share – perhaps it’ll aid your decision if you’re still on the fence about buying this beast.
Without further ado (switch to 720p and view in Chrome for best experience):
