How well do you know your Facebook friends?

November 21st, 2011

Play Jameson’s Facebook game and you’ll soon find out.

www.Jameson1780.com invites you to travel back to John Jameson’s Dublin, circa 1780. Your mission is to solve the Quandary of the Missing Barrel. The premise of the quandary is simple: a barrel of John Jameson’s whiskey has disappeared and a friend of yours knows something about it.
You must uncover which friend it was and get the barrel back. It’s up to you to hit the streets of Dublin and question the townspeople. Maybe the servant girl was able to make out your friend’s age. Perhaps the chimney sweep got a glance at their diary. Gather clues and put your Facebook friendships to the test.
As you search ancient maps and visit the old souls of Dublin, you become a part of a John Jameson Legend. And this time, the hero is you.

Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet gets rooted | Ubergizmo

Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet gets rooted | Ubergizmo.

This is what I have been waiting to hear!

I visited Barnes & Noble this weekend and put hands on the Nook Tablet. IMHO the device in its current state is painful to use at best. The speed is great but if you want to go back a page on the browser, you will need to scroll all the way to the top to find the back arrow. :-(

Full Root for the Nook Tablet at XDA Forums

I did read about sideloading apps over at TheVerge but I still would want the root so I can add Google Apps (GApps)
