This looks to be very smooth and responsive considering it is not natively a touch screen.

November 9th, 2011Why Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet is a Must Buy
November 7th, 2011Today Barnes & Noble announced the Nook Tablet at $249 and available as soon as Nov. 18th.
The spec list and price make this tablet the current champion among all current 7″ Android based Tablet offerings. You can’t argue with 1GHz dual-core TI Omap 4, 1 Gb RAM, 16 Gb on board storage W/ up to 32 Gb Micro SD slot, 7 inches VividView, laminated (IPS) and a battery capable of 11.5 hours reading, 9 hours video (Wi-Fi off).
You cannot deny that one of the bigger points of interest is the Nook Tablet’s tight integration with Netfilx. This brings a whole new level to streaming entertainment. Full access to the Netflix streaming catalog means you are never without the ability to quickly catch the next episode in that series you just got hooked on. In the back yard… on the can…sitting at the coffee house. Where ever you have a WIFI hookup…you are good to go.
Rumor has it that there is a built in MIC. This seems to me that Skype calls would be totally possible if you add in a pair of headphones?
If you sign up for a Barnes & Noble account ($25) B&N will take off $25 from the cost of a new Nook Tablet making the cost $224 with FREE shipping!
