Google Talk in a Gadget

Google talk is now available in a Gadget for your Google start page.
I discovered this on Googlified
This is OK… I guess.
I mean…it’s great if you want another way to access your contacts and chat with them. I’d just use Gmail for this, myself. With Gmail I have instant access to all my addresses and instant access to any new mail that comes in. I know…you can view your new mails in a gadget and do all the other stuff as well. I guess I just don’t want to concede to the damn start pages. Besides I think they are named wrong. You always keep coming back to the “Start Page”…all day long
The secret second part to this gadget is… you can add it to your blog. Google Talk Gadget on your blog

Ok…it’s not secret…but maybe it should be.
Why would anyone want to do this?
Look…all of your contacts are exposed to whoever or whatever happens to visit your site.
I have had some real winners stop by here and talk with their mouth full of Sh*t. Don’t forget about the 15,000+ spam comments that this blog has received in Five months. Who wants their contacts exposed to this? Who, as a contact, would want to be exposed to this?
If you put this gadget on your blog…kiss your contacts goodbye. They’ll disappear faster than a Quarter on a candy store floor.

Sorry if I have mislead you, but the gadget will only show the contacts of whoever visits your site, not you contacts, so feel safe.
It’s like you will see your own email on the Google site (after login) and other people will see their own.
Err, upgrade to the latest version of WordPress, it’s safe, faster, and blah blah.
