Android: Apps listing site GetJar has launched a GetJar Gold service that offers, like Amazon’s free “app of the day,” premium Android apps for a limited time. Right now there are 50 titles that, combined, are worth over $50. You can grab them for free.

Many of the apps are games, such as Age of Zombies, but there are utilities as well, like remote access software Splashtop Remote Desktop and keyboard replacement SwiftKeyX. All of them are ad-free.
