Do It Tomorrow for Android

July 6th, 2011

Here is a ‘Don’t Forget the Milk’ app for people who want lists but would loike to complete them on their own time. Do It Tomorrow for Android allows you to easily put off today what you can easily do tomorrow. With ‘cloud sync’, this app becomes even easier to hurry up and procrastinate!

Do It Tomorrow allows you to put off today what can be done tomorrow. The application allows you to enter reminders into a virtual note book quickly and easily. The UI is intuitive and as the app implies, you can easily push events and reminders off to the following day with the click of a button. Another nice feature of course, is cloud synchronization.

Embed any UnSpun list

July 9th, 2010

UnSpun allows you to create lists for any topic, idea, product etc. These lists can be embedded, shared replicated, emailed, Facebooked etc.

One really cool feature that i noticed about the embed is the fact that it resizes itself to fit where you placed it.
These lists are interactive for your readers, friends, relatives and even strangers.

How it works

Let’s say you love red wine and are always pleased to discover a good bottle for a reasonable price.

First. You create a list titled: “Great Red Wines for under $20.00”

Second. You add listings (and descriptions if you like) that you feel are worthy of being part of the list.

Third. You share this list with your wine-loving friends and ask them to (1) contribute their wine ideas and/or vote on those already on the list and (2) share the list with their friends who also like wine.

Fourth. Return to the list you created and view what other people have contributed.

Fifth. Over time, people that you don’t know will contribute new wines to the list. The value of this resource will constantly grow so check back and keep on learning.

Sixth. Repeat with a new list idea—perhaps the “most important things to consider when training for a triathlon” or “Best Pizza in your city” or “Things Obama needs to focus on” or “Funniest Paris Hilton Quotes” or “Great things to do with your kids (in your city) on a rainy day” or “Best holes in all of golf” or “Greatest Sports Books Ever” or……

Twitter List Widget

November 3rd, 2009

Twitter has recently enabled the Twitter List feature for all users.

Now they have released the Twitter List Widget which will display any Twitter list you choose.

It appears to be a simple widget, yet you can alter many of the colors and choose the exact size that you desire.

This is a JavaScript widget so there could be limitations as to your ability to embed this into your blog.

Below, I have created the TechCrunch Twitter List widget. I picked TechCrunch because I was sure that they had already taken advantage of the Twitter List feature. I was not disappointed either…as you can see.

I’ve included an image in case the widget doesn’t load. There were some issues in the preview.
