Not everyone can adjust or tolerate high information intakes. even i got burned by the amounts of information i get to consume every day. but it is certainly not for everyone. now that information is a commodity and is even live and everywhere thanks to blogs and microblogging. this causes a glut. too much information about a endless myriad of themes. solutions to filter it out are the things that can also be seen as a staple of 2008.

Loud3r (louder) is just that. a way to filter news  so you only get to read the news of a certain topic of your interest. they are launching with 25 channels with the main relevant themes. from cars to fashions, from politics to gossip. Loud3r is like a super ambitious and spread out Alltop combined with digg. think of every louder channel as mashed feed of news that is monitored by a person and optimized by a machine. what you get are newsbites of things from the topic that interest you.

I have seen many and i mean many attempts like loud3r before, even from the humble start of the web. Loud3r looks to be a interesting approach that may work because we finally got the technology and info overload adjusted enough people to make it work.

And it also got another good thing. it got widgets. a widget for every loud3r channel. the loud3r channels are powered by widgetbox and it counts with Widgetbox out of the box (widget) high spread sharing for 12 channels and 2 versions  of generic embed codes (flash/JS) and you can always customize the widget in its widgetbox page for 3 sizes and a dozen colors.  even then. don`t expect much from the widget. it is quite generic. but so is the idea behind loud3r and that is what they aim to in this case. so maybe that is the reason.

Still a great choice if you want to filter the noise.
