A Pownce Flash Widget badge Generator. there was one already and i wrote about it late last year. but it looks it no longer works. too bad. the badges were nice. Pownce Badge Maker generates a Flash Widget Badge that don`t looks as good but it is more powerful and it will feel very familiar because it riffs from the official Twitter Badge Widget design.
The Pownce Badge Maker is simply to use and don`t needs any explanation. it counts with the basic otptions but you can customize the number of messages it can show in the widget and customize your colors.the only option i would have liked is that it would be more Pownce Like in terms of the design and that you could also customize the size of the widget and the side of the text font.
It got a nice detail in the widget where if you hover the Picon (photo icon or personal icon) of the user, in this case my face. it will peel like paper sheet and will reveal a add as a pownce friend link. that is a nice and useful touch to make someone that stumbles with the badge to click it too.
The Badge Widget is in flash so it can be put everywhere. if you are in Pownce. i would say it is a must. it even counts with the approval of Leah Culver. the creator of Pownce herself. the guys behind the Pownce Badge Maker also released a AS3 library for Pownce API. that means that you if you are a AS3 (Flash/Flex) developer. you can easily go and create a Pownce Widget or a Pownce app if you want and do it with a lot less of an effort. that is a good Widget opportunity there. there are close to no Pownce Widgets and Apps. if you do build a Widget with it. i can say that even if it is basic. i will plug it here in Widgets Lab. so off you go.
