Doll-Doll is a widget that could easily be classified as a “thingy†or “trinket†for blogs. in this case a “Blog Pet†as they call it. they even used the word "Tamagotchi†themselves so the “post tamagotchi†tag for describing it is not all my doing.
The idea is simple for anyone that remembers not only tamagotchi but Neo Pets or more recently and also a good reference would be Go Pets. the only thing is unlike neopets this is not a animal but a “doll-dollâ€. that means is a human like magical creature. a blog fairy if you will.
What you are supposed to do with it? well it can live in your blog. you can feed it. it can entertain your visitors and what not and even play a little tune.
This pic is a example of how a live Doll-Doll looks like and as stated it only got direct install support for Xanga and MySpace users. but it “could†work for most if you grad the embed code and paste it on your own.
