Skribit Get Topic Ideas from Readers
November 17th, 2007Readers can submit topic suggestions via widget
What is Skribit.com?
view entire press release
But what does it do?
Skribit allows blog readers to submit topic suggestions and rate other suggestions via a widget right on your blog. With the ‘Frog’ sounding name and associated theme its no wonder that hot topics would be located in the ‘Whats Hoppin’!’ list.
Why though?
Blog owners can then evaluate suggestions for future blog posts. Essentially taking the ‘pulse’ of the readership. The idea is to cater to what your readers want from you. This makes sense in any business. Especially in blogging, where success is defined by the amount of traffic you get.
Keep your readers happy and they tell their friends…and so on…and so on…
How do I get it?
Skribit.com is currently in private beta. I have applied to try out the widget and hopefully the approval won’t take forever.
So I have no idea what type of code is used or whether you can change sizes and colors to suit your blog. Anyone with any experience with creating widgets would do well to add these features to their widget set up.
