Twitch Twitter Flash Widget Generator

September 22nd, 2008

Twitch is a Twitter Widget Generator that outputs a really really nice and pleasant looking Twitter Flash Badge. it looks so Twitterish (or Twitter Like) that it makes me wish this was a Twitter Official Widget. i would be able to bet that more than one would think that Twitter has released a flash widget just from looking at it.

There is no much to say beyond that because there is no user customization but in this case it truly don`t matter because how PERFECTLY skinned the widget badge is. changing it would be screwing it more than likely.

The Twitch page is in Japanese but the page auto explains itself perfectly because it is very minimalistic for a Japanese website.

(I like it so much that i will put it the active widget in this post)

The Twitch Widget Badge only shows up the last 5 tweets. so that is the only thing i would like to customize, so it could show at least the last 10 or 15 tweets if wanted. beyond that, it is as Twitter like as you can get.

AddTweets: JS Latest Tweets Twitter Blog Badge Generator

August 28th, 2008

Because there is no such thing as too many Twitter widgets. AddTweets is a very simple and basic JavaScript Latest Tweets Twitter Badge Generator for you Blog Sidebar. you can show from one to ten of you latest tweets. given how it integrates and how truly basic it is because there is close to no look at all. it should only recommended for blog where it makes sense aesthetically.

In the photo you can see what your customizing options are and they are just about how the text renders. nothing much than that. still a simple and effective tool for anyone that is looking for a twitter badge and don`t mind it to be in JavaScript. my only complaint with it is that there should be some skins. since you are going to place a script in your page. it should reward you with something better looking. otherwise a active photo badge may be a better choice.

Twignature comes from the same developer that brought you TwitGIF. it is a simple Twitter Button Generator. it generates 3 predefined styles of Twitter Buttons and depending on your Twitter username length is how you can adjust the size in the generator.

In my case this would result in the following buttons:

Very simple to use. no need to explain or translate. it is in japanese but the indications are in english.

TwitGIF: nice and simple Twitter animated active badge for your last 10 tweets

August 18th, 2008

image

TwitGIF is a animated active badge generator for Twitter made in japan. TwitGIF as the name implies generates a Twitter active badge in a GIF. this allows for transitions and the transitions are your last 10 tweets. this makes it easy to share your Tweets everywhere.

That is not all. it also got size and color customization. that way you can generate the following forms for your Animated Twitter Active Badge:

1.-Banner

image

The perfect size if you plan to use this as a forum signature, e-mail signature or you want to place it in your blog without it taking to much space in your header, footer or main content area. it just renders your tweets and the size is meant so you can fit the whole 140 characters without a hitch.

2.-OneLiner

image

Newsticker style. but unlike newstickers. it don`t scrolls so your tweets get cut off. this makes it worthless and too much of a stretch unless you don`t mind.

Twitter / avatarx

3.-SideBox

image

Classic Sidebar Style. thin so it can be placed in any blog sidebar without a problem. unlike the horizontal versions. this one counts with the tweet counter, the date and hour stamps for the tweets it renders and it shows it was made with TwitGIF

Twitter / avatarx

4.-GVGA

Want to use it like a card?. just like TwitterCard? then this the size you are looking for. it is almost a shame that there is lots of wasted space. it could easily carry your Twitter Bio and Twitter data in it too. maybe in a next version.

Twitter / avatarx

Once you choose your side you also got to decide if you want square or round corners and can change the color of your TwitGIF badge from 5 predefined colors or make your own mix.

And you are done. you are then offered the link to your Gif, and the ready to use embed code with linking or without linking to your Twitter account.

The page is in Japanese but it counts with English indications and it is very straightforward to use.if you still think that is not enough. then you can use this link:  Translated version (just replace my name with yours)
