Another USA election means that JibJab gets to do another election based JibJab video song. but this time around it happens directly in a Widget that gets to have the advancements from the last 4 years that are of course INMENSE when comparing to the older ways of posting a video.
Now the jibjab Election Song “Time for some Campaigning†based ironically and sarcastically in bob dylan`s “Times are changingâ€. can count with High Spread Sharing (via gigya), Better resolution video, optimized bandwidth consume, Widget Metrics, Widget Ads, Widget Marketing, Interactivity,etc.
Things that are now getting to be standard but shows how much things have changed in the last 4 years. another thing that has changed is that this video must have taken a lot more of time to do than the old one and no doubt it had a bigger budget.
You can also get to star in it if you want to and send it to your friends as a sendable e-card. which pretty much means that if you send it to someone they can watch the video and get to see you appear in it.
Ok. the idea of personal messages appearing in TV during a show segment is nothing new. that is something MTV has been doing for years now.but that is not the news. the news in here is that Superpoke will sponsor a new reality tv show called “I Love Money†in Vh1
( you know. that Widget-App that has stormed the world at facebook and now has jumped to MySpace and also has been copied everywhere?. yeah.that one.)
When would you have thought that there would be a Widget popular enough to be sponsoring a new TV show?. if this is a sign of the times already just imagine what the next decade holds us.
Well. the idea just like in MTV is for personal messages to appear during a show. but those messages will be chosen and generated from SuperPoke. so if you get selected your animated superpoke will appear in TV as the same time it does what it is supposed to do in the web.
There will be 10,000 Superpokes scheduled to appear during this SuperPokeFest things at Vh1.

Remember Mixwit?, Mixwit is the competition of Muxtape, the difference is that Mixwit is better, cooler and got some -Neo-Retro bonus chops in my book that simply make it my favorite music widget by far.
If you still need to be reminded of what it is. it is simply a way to share your online music backup as flash digital objects that look like old school cassettes and that even if you don`t have a online music back up, you can use their music search engines (right now they got skreemer and seeqpod) to generate your cassete with either basic skins they provide you with or add your own.
And they have just updated the Widget with something Muxtape users had to hack in and that only those using a mac could get at.
What exactly that would be?, well they updated it with a phodeo (you may know it now as Coverflow) like menu right in the widget, aptly called “widgetflow” and i must say it rocks and makes sharing the cassettes the equivalent to share a small music collection in one go.
 That way you can easily browse a entire collection of 20 mixwate tapes without leaving the widget and the page you are in, that means you never having to leave the page and neither your visitors if you using a Mixwit widget in your Blog.
You can check it out in this mixwit mixtape wdget from my collection, just start it, pause it and then click menu to see it in action. you can then check out some of the tapes i got in the service if you want. just BEWARE, not only i got some eclectic and exotic taste, i got some dangerous tastes too. so, whatever you do, DON`T PLAY THE WOLF EYES TAPE, you have been warned.
