Looks like Widgetbox went looking for some opportunities in synergy for its Widgetbox Blog Network. even if it has to be one Blog Network Channel (Topic Blog Directory inside the network) at time. they seem to have hit it right for the Sport Blog Channel with Yardbarker who they did a exclusive partnership deal.
Yardbarker is a Sport News and Blogs Aggregator Portal that lets all sport blogs to syndicate their content in the site for enhanced exposure. with this new deal you can generate YardBarker branded Widgetbox Blidgets (feed widgets) from the Yardbarker blogs that syndicate content there.
You only need to pick up your favorite team or sport in order to generate a Yardbarker Widget.
Pretty simple. if you have a Sport Blog and want to be 3 times as benefited as a regular Widgetbox Blog Network member, you will have to join Yardbarker and place the Widgetbox Widget from your Channel in your blog. otherwise. for a double benefit just join yardbarker and enjoy of exposure in widgetbox and in yardbarker.
Certainly not a bad deal for free.

Widgetbox decided last week that launching a Blog Network would be a good idea. IT IS. but just that is not really a Blog Network in the proper way. it is more of a Blog Directory. that don`t sounds as good as network so i guess they decided to push the meaning of the words. a matter of semantics and word meaning appreciation that is futile to discuss. but the idea is good because the #1 Widgetbox widgets are Blidgets. Blidgets are Blog Feed Widgets. the rss feed of blog turned widgetbox widget. Widgetbox claims to have served those 1.5 BILLION times.
What better example of a Widgetbox Blidget than Widgets Lab own?. like all Widgetbox Blidgets or Widgets. it could with a High Spread Sharing module that will serve you the code and quick install for the destination you choose to install it to.
Since it is the #1 Widgetbox Widget. a way to mine on them and make them even more attractive to bloggers is a no brainer. it is something useful because that way you can find more blogs you may like from the different categories Widgetbox has set up. and because that gives Widgetbox the perfect excuse to launch a new Widgetbox Widget:
